In Creativity be like a Surfer
In Surfing, a lot of time is spent waiting for waves as you straddle the board looking at the open sea. Even as a good one comes, the surfer close to the crest rides the wave, and I resolve not to interfere. Much time passes away but I’m sure my own wave will come. Then, as the onlookers watch, I shout as i stand up on the board , “This is my wave.” And take off. As i ride, rise and flow with it a wonderful feeling grows within my body and spirit.
As i become one with it i know deep within that this certainly is “my own wave.”
Creativity and Business are very similar in essence to riding your own wave. That’s right, your own wave is on its way but you have to be patient and make sure you are in rhythm and ready for it with the right Mindset. Then, when the time comes, Exhale your inner strength, let it out in that moment. Spring up and ride your wave.
Success is unexpected and gradual, progressive, and refined. Recently, I’ve realized that’s how I want things to be.
